The portal energy.barrel.center (the Portal) lets the enabled sales people of Energy prepare technical and commercial documents on Energy storage systems for the customers of Energy.
The Portal is provided by Barrel S.r.l., Galleria delle Porte Contarine 4, 35137 Padova, Italy, VAT IT12616620964, REA PD-478495, bess@barrel.center (Barrel), on behalf of Energy and under a contract between Energy and Barrel (the Contract). These terms govern the use of the Portal by the sales people; for anything they do not cover, the Contract applies.
The Portal is accessible only by invitation, sent by Barrel on the indication of Energy. The account is personal: the sales person keeps the credentials safe and reports any unauthorised use to bess@barrel.center immediately.
The account is deactivated when Energy asks for it, when the relationship between the sales person and Energy ends or when the Contract ends.
The Portal produces technical and commercial documents (preliminary analysis, technical sizing, full technical proposal, commercial offer, financial model, one-page summary, preliminary fire-safety assessment and those added later) from:
The documents are issued in the name of Energy, with the contact details of the sales person who prepares them and with the mention «barrel.center advisory». To produce them the Portal uses an artificial intelligence system (Claude, by Anthropic) together with deterministic calculations; commentary texts are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors.
Using the Portal costs nothing to the sales person.
The documents are preliminary technical and commercial support tools. They are not detailed or final designs, certified reports or documents to be filed with authorities, grid operators or fire brigades, nor legal, tax or financial advice.
Each value shows its status: declared, guaranteed, assumption, to be verified, not declared.
Before delivering a document to a customer, the sales person:
Price lists, commercial terms and data of Energy in the Portal are confidential. The sales person uses them only for the commercial activity of Energy and does not share them outside the channels authorised by Energy.
Customer data entered in the Portal (company, site, consumption, bills, project materials) are processed on behalf of Energy, which is the controller; Barrel processes them as processor, under the Contract. The sales person enters only the data needed for the offer and does not enter special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR) or criminal data.
The documents produced belong to Energy. The mention «barrel.center advisory», the reference to barrel.center and the note on the nature of the document must not be removed from the versions delivered to customers.
Barrel retains the Portal, the software, the product and country database, the calculation rules and the document templates.
The sales person does not use the Portal:
Barrel may suspend an account in case of breach, informing Energy.
Barrel does its best to keep the Portal available and correct, under the Contract. It may interrupt it for maintenance or for reasons beyond its control.
Liability between Energy and Barrel, the applicable law and the competent court are those of the Contract. These terms create no payment obligations for the sales person.
Barrel may update these terms in agreement with Energy; the version in force is always at energy.barrel.center/termini. Substantial changes are proposed at the next login.
